you require a deposit to rent a truck?
Yes.
Credit and Debit Card Rules
24HourTruckRental.com requires a credit card hold of $300 for truck
or van rentals.
In the event that you choose not to return your truck on or before your
scheduled return date, we may place an additional hold on your card
(depending on how long you keep the truck) to cover expected rental
charges. Upon your return of the truck, all holds will be released,
and the actual cost of the rental will be charged. Please note that
your bank may take up to two weeks to post the released credit hold
to your card.

for us to know which entitlements accompany your given policy. We strongly
recommend that you contact your insurance company to verify your coverages

24HourTruckRental.com sells a variety of optional Insurance and protection
plans for your rental.

card or AAA insurance personally. Never assume you're covered without

Covers you for damage, vandalism, or theft of truck and rental equipment.
There are two types : Personal Damage Waiver and Limited Damage Waiver.
Plan 2 : Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI)
Protects you against bodily injury claims and property damage claims
made against you by other people.
Plan 3 : Personal and Cargo (PAC)
Covers you and your household cargo while in the rental truck.

In most cases, the truck will be dispatched with a full tank and you
will be required to return the truck with a full tank. In the event
that the truck was dispatched with less than a full tank of fuel, you
will be required to fill that tank up to that same level. Please note

fuel left in the tank.

do if I'm involved in an accident?
First, contact the police to complete an accident report, then immediately
contact the location from which the truck was rented. You can find location
phone information on the front or back of your rental agreement.
What happens if I don't return
my truck on the designated return time/date?
If the truck isn't returned on or before the due time/date, 24HourTruckRental.com
may obtain additional credit card hold authorizations to cover expected
rental charges. You MUST have 24HourTruckRental.com authorization to
extend any due time/date by calling 1-954-249-8991. Otherwise, 24HourTruckRental.com
may be forced to enact all recovery efforts including seizing the van/truck
and/or reporting the truck to the authorities as "stolen."

What
should I do if I have problems with my truck?
Before you start driving, take a few moments to familiarize yourself
with the truck's or van's equipment and operation, including heat and
A/C, radio, lights, windshield wipers, spare tire, seat belts and door
locks, and gas tank access. Getting distracted trying to figure out
those things while driving can be dangerous. Don't wait until
the fuel warning light goes on to think about buying gas, especially
if you don't know how far it is between gas stations. If, in the
unlikely event that your truck malfunctions on a major thoroughfare,
lock the doors, turn on the hazard lights and, if you have a cell phone,
call the police. Don't leave your truck. Wait in the truck for
service or the police to arrive. Accepting help from strangers, no matter
how well intended, is not a good idea unless you can't call for
help and they can. If, in the unlikely event that an emergency light
illuminates on your control panel, don't ignore it. Use good judgment
about whether you can get back to our location safely and don't
hesitate to call our 24-hour roadside assistance in the U.S. at 1-954-249-8991
